Good Morning Everyone, I'm just a tad bit nervous, and I think Zeke is too.. at least he's acting that way pacing in his crate.. Sun is out thank goodness as I was expecting a down pour.. My crystal is spinning and boy it sure reflects such neat colors..I couldn't get my coffee down.. when I get nervous so does my stomach.. Just want to get past this day..!
I hope you all have a wonderful day.. I just had to post to let you all know that I pray every day that all of you have a Safe Journey and that our Paths will cross along our Highways of Dreams..

Barbzee..couldn't find the post about Zeeke..what's wrong? Sorry..My Buddy, well let me say he is on my bed and next to me as much as the Hub so I know how much dogs mean to folks.

Barbizee- will be sending up a prayer for Zeke and you too! Hope all goes well. Just finished reading Marley and Me. True story of a Lab and his family. A must read for us animal lovers even if you don't own a Lab!

Just finally got on here today and was hoping to see a note about Zeke being home and resting comfortably. I've been thinking and praying about him all day - and for you also, Barbzeee.

Just wanted to let you know that I haven't heard anything.. I called at 3PM and Doctor was still in Surgery.. I dropped Zeke off at 7:30am and I had to stay with him so they could give him sedations.. and prep him.. but as we were doing that an emergency came in .. so I knew that the Surgeon would have to do that dog first.. Goodness you just never realize how these poor Surgeons are working..Seems you think my you pay a hefty price and they have a life.. but in reality it's hectic and nerve wrecking I'm sure.. extremely long days and nights as well..
This place where I took Zeke to, is also a Triage Center in case you are wondering about these Emergencies.. This Orthopedic Doctor set this place up.. and it's actual a God Sent.. as it's open 24/7 .

makes me feel ok.. but waiting is definitely awful..

Update !!!! Zeke is ok, his surgery went well..His cruciate ligament was completely torn.. He's now resting well and will be able to come home tomorrow..thank goodness.. so a sigh of relief as I just couldn't do anything until I heard how he was.. I had called there (as you know there was no way I could sit by a phone all day) and Dr was in Surgery with Zeke so that made me even more edgy..but alas it's over and now the long process of recovery..
I've got steaks ready for him.. as I know he'll not eat right for a few days..so what ever I can get into him, is important .. now I can relax, the worst part is over.!! Again thanks everyone for those prayers..
