Happy Mother's Day to all you Mothers out there!!Hope you all have a very special day!!!
Yesterday was Birth-Mother's Day and I thought it was very sweet. My nephew and his wife have an adoped boy 2 years old. They posted a Happy Birth-mother's Day greeting to their son's birth mother on our familly site. Although she can't read it on our site, I imagine they did send it to the adoption agency where she can see pictures and anything they send in case she wants to check in. It is the thought that counts and I thought it was a very sweet and sensative thing to do.

Hey Most definitely a Happy Mother's Day to All...
Fernie, I think that's wonderful.. as you know for a mother to give up her child for adoption is difficult and her wanting that child to have the best care is truly a loving woman.. I've known many a girls that had to make that most difficult decision because they were too young...and then to know that the family that adopted your child is still thinking of her..
My critters and I are going to have a celebration of life too.. We have our "Special Breakfast" and you know they really look forward to it..LOL Who says they don't know.... :)
I went and seen that RV movie.. and I have to tell you there was a couple of incidents (not saying which) that hit very close to home.. LOL Yes, the group of people that were in the movies were really laughing loudly.. in fact the lady behind us had such a laugh that I think I was laughing at her too !..
Ya gotta appreciate this movie as boy I wouldn't have wanted to be in that Rig.. and by the way.. that is is a Georgie Boy.. LOL have to say that's one heck of a put together frame :)..
The movie was packed.. I mean like Sardines.. and no one left their seats.. that's for sure. Even stopped after the movies for a Carvel..now you know that was good :)
You all have a wonderful day.. (cloudy and looking like it's gonna..) and have a great meal too.. My Crock pot has Chicken and Dressing in it for today..:)

Howdy,
This is rvgary from the General Forum. I do not normally post up here as this forum is for you gals but I did want to drop by this morning and wish you ALL, "A HAPPY MOTHERS DAY" We mortal men will never know what it is to be a mother.

Fernie,
That is so wonderful and thoughtful. So many adoptive parents are afraid of their children ever wanting to find their birth parents or even telling them they are adopted. I just love how your family is doing this. My best wishes to all of them.

It's been a nice morning. Went to Naples last night and took Mom for breakfast this am. Got her some books she enjoys and a gift card from the same large bookstore. She's off to China on the 26th and Japan after that. Won't see her for 3 weeks. Funny how things turn around....Now I do the worrying!!
I am certain my Mother is getting revenge for my teenage years....
