It's Saturday and all is well..!! Having my coffee as I read the news (on the forum) and so happy for Snowball that they got their rig.. and Paulette having a great time in Gettysburg.. Joella enjoying Bransen and all those great shows..and food :) Fernie getting in and Running Bear...LOL.. Lots of things happening on this Forum for sure..
Today hubby and I are heading out to drop off the rig for her inspection and a few things serviced..then we're going for lunch and a Matinee..to see RV.. then home and in the reclining position..that's are big event.. Zeke I'm sure is happy he's home and so are the rest of the Critters.. I cooked them a Steak..Yes, folks a Steak for their dinner..they did enjoy it.. Are my guys spoiled you bet.. but you know like I tell my hubby, I don't smoke, I don't drink..a glass of wine every now and then..and really don't go buying a lot of clothes (no room for them anyway) so this is my spending LOL yep goes right to the critters.. I'll tell you all it was gone in a flash.. mixed in with their dry food..I don't think they came up for air LOL.. It's kind of gloomy here today and suppose to get some rain..we could use it.. stopped and bought some geraniums for the porch very colorful.. so that will make it a little cheery..have to pick up some dirt to plant them in bigger pots.. so my weekend is plotted out...LOL

Barbzee, A Good Morning to You. We have had rain in Maryland and more predicted. I just finished working two weeks at the hospital and am so glad that is over. I came home Thurs, was just going to rest a minute and fell sound asleep. I am not use to the early hours or stress anymore but the ole gal could still do it. lol I love working with my old coworkers and of course the rv play money is good too. I managed to cut grass before the rain last night. The world looks and smells so clean after a good rain. I also have flowers to plant and my annual vegetable garden of 3 tomato plants :>) Going out to dinner with family for Mothers Day. I like your idea of the movies. It is Saturday here too!!! Imagine that!! The sun is shining and I need to cut grass. If I wasn't leaving town next weekend I could let the grass go till the first of the week but I want to mow it before I leave next week so I need to cut it today. Don't want to mow tall grass next weekend!! LOL
Glad to see you post Shirlv!! Glad to see being a Groovin Granny didn't have any adverse affects!! Hey ya'll----I bought a Verizon air card so I'll be able to get on-line when I'm camping in Illinois. I have cell service at that lake but no wireless connections. :) I don't want to miss out on what is happening on here for sure!! Have to make sure Barbzee stays in line!!

Good Morning! Sunny here..and so nice!
16 of us went to the Pam Tillis Show last night..best show we've seen thus far. Her brother, Sonny and sister, Kerri sang with her..both good too. Sonny looks like, sings like, has the mannerisms and body language of his daddy...Mel...he even talks like him, except for the stutter. grin..
There have been 24 of us at the RV America semi-rally... though not at the same time..some came later, some left early. It's been a hoot!
Shirl great to work with old friend co-workers and to find you CAN do it...ha!! Yes, we all do like that RV playing money!!
Fernie, one couple here operates entirely on the Verizon air card...hope it works as well for you!
Barb (and all) Enjoy your Saturday.. A group of us is going back to Lambert's for some more of those good ole yeast "throwed rolls"...for lunch today!!

It's housework day and I just cheated. I saw a lawn cutting crew next door and just paid them to do the lawn. They cut it, trimmed, edged, and used a blower and were done in 20 min! Whew! I almost broke a sweat watching em. If only they would come in and do the laundry and wash the floor that quick! That 20 bucks just saved me three hours! Hah! I'm trying to feel guilty but the smirk just won't leave. I am certain my Mother is getting revenge for my teenage years....

Hey all, of course I have a few mintues :) couldn't resist temtation as I walked by the computer..dusting LOL... Ducky,, you bet if I seen someone coming by and cutting I'd grab them quick..lucky you 20 bucks..geezzz where do you live again? here they look at ya and it costs.. Hubby just went out on the tractor to cut the fields and will swing around and do the house.. I just got back from dropping the Rig off and "Looked" at a new one.. well they did give me a great offer LOL oh my ...they always do that to me every time I come in.. guess they like me fixin up the one I have and makes a quick sale too..all the comforts of home LOL just when I get them broken in too....oh my.. don't even want to go there.. this one is 3 ft longer too..well..... another topic..LOL
Anyway, will be going to the movies in another hour and have my popped corn ready to hit the microwave before we leave the door..LOL I like a special brand that has less husks.. and it's tasty..

Fernie.. that air card.. I've been all over and only had maybe 2 places I couldn't get service..but for that matter I had no cell service either.. but other than that I was always logged on.. I did that all the time I was in Florida.. without any problems.. and if you get in an area that has Broad Band.. well you'll see how fast your service is... Infact you could use it at your house instead of dial up.. just check the speed you're dial up is compared to the air card speed... you'll save a few bucks anyway only needing the one.
All my critters are napping and it's so quiet in the house.. almost makes me want to take a nap.. better not nap in the movies..LOL

Ducky, I don't want to hear it!! I just spent 2 hours on the rider mowing my acre!! Mowing is expensive here----won't touch a yard of any size under about $35!!

I can relate to the microwave popcorn thing. Movie popcorn and soda is a grocery bill! As if the movie tickets weren't enough. It's funny the things I'm willing to spend money on and the things I'll get cheapo over. I've snuck so many snacks into the theatre that my elbows wouldn't bend! Cold soda down the sleeve....brrrr lol I am certain my Mother is getting revenge for my teenage years....

Ducky I looked like the pregnant lady LOL boy I had some stuff .. only ya gotta watch the aroma as you enter in the movies..LOL I usually carry a large tote bag.. and have my goodies in there.. I don't mind spending if it's worth it..but get real on some of the prices.. poor kids they go broke.. just for a soda and a hot dog was 5 bucks.. so got me once but not again.. I bring my candy as well.. sorry Charlie no can do those prices.. I want that old Drive In back again.. loved it for the great ventures too LOL Hey but boy could you pack a great cooler and snack trays.. alright Drive In everyone LOL
