Beth, sorry to hear you didn't have any connection. It makes you feel lost to the outside world when that happens..cause this internet does become it..LOL.. had that happen only once in Florida.. and missing this Forum reading for a day can be hazardous to your mental state LOL... cause you know to catch up is a lot of reading.. which means.. we ladies are surely into yakking.. and as Martha would say, "That's a Good Thing !
I have to go to the Asthma Center this morning to have a lung test.. Now I keep telling them if my lungs aren't working..well, would I be here ???? They just say, "Suck it up and push it out" boy that
does make you feel light headed..LOL>..
You all have a great day and looking forward to catching up on all the great posts..

OH BOY!! OH BOY!! OH BOY!! I get to drive my rv today for the first time in 5 weeks!!!! LOL . I'll just be driving it about 10 miles one way but at least I'm driving it. Storms are moving in this afternoon and will last through tomorrow so no camping till after the storms. After the storms that went through here while I was in Pigeon Forge (3 killed in our county) I'll stay home for the storms. If I was already camping, I'd just ride it out though. I will get out for a couple days by this time next week though!! Have a good day ya'll!!

Well, I've been trying to get everything ready for a trip to Gettysburg this weekend. Me, Dad and looks like both puppies. Calling for rain Thursday, but they have threatened before and nothing came of it so we shall see. It's only about 2 1/2 hours away from home, so it should be a relatively easy drive. The hardest part is deciding what sorts of meals I want to make while there and making sure I have all the ingredients so that I can. Not that I want anything fancy.
Anyway, everyone have a great day. :)

The sun is shining here in Fort Nelson, BC, but that danged wind is still blowing! The flag is standing full out at attention. Cold though! Waiting for the guy to show up for the window repair, he promised to be here between 8 and 8:15 so I could go sightseeing today before we leave tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning all. I can't believe how cold it's turned again in SC! I think we've quit really having springs anymore in most of the country - straight from winter to summer with some teaser days in between. Now, we did have spring in Alabama - but that far south, winter really is more like a northern spring all the time!
Looking forward to going to dump the rv today - as I'm taking it to a nearby state park that's supposed to be gorgeous. So we'll make a trip out of it. Then get the oil changed and come back to my g/f's. I like knowing that it's all up-to-date. At least with all this cold, I know my heater is working just fine. :)
Have fun with your lung test, Barbzeee!
Sharon, hope your glass is fixed now.
Smiling is contagious - try it!

Barb...give 'em heck-fire at the Asthma center!!!
Fernie, enjoy the short run with Running Bear!!
Paulette, how long will you be in Gettysburg? Know you and dad will have a great time.. For short trips, I try to work with a menu...taking things for that..This trip I began with a cooked roast for both sandwiches and supper.. Also have a couple bags of bbq in the freezer we grilled about two weeks ago. I like some time-saver pre-cooked items! If it's going to be a long trip...I just chunk in everything... We eat a lot of fresh fruit, fresh veggies and my DH has to have his milk daily...so we must hit the grocery store often anyway..so long time supplies are not imperative..
Sharon, am SO enjoying your photos..show them to Milt as he sits here next to me. He laughed at Sam the cat with Attitude... He looked pooped out!!! Hope the windshield repairman gets there soon so you can sightsee!!
Have a wonderful day all!!

Jomilt, we are just going for a long weekend, Thursday - Sunday. KOA is having their camp one day freeby and that is the 12th so I figured lets take advantage of that too. I'm trying to keep it simple on the meals, but still need to make sure to bring everything that I have planned for. I keep the mh pretty well stocked in the summer but had taken most of the stuff out for the winter as I was afraid of things freezing and bursting or varmits getting into things. So, there are some things still out there, but for the fresh meats and veggies and fruits, etc. that is what I have been trying to "plan". It's just a brain workout, that's all. I have to remember to bring my bottle of white merlot along too because I plan on kicking back and relaxing most of the time!!!!
Thanks for the suggestions though, they sound good.

Sounds like fun, Paulette! Sometimes those short weekend trips are just what you need to re-charge. Except for Sparkle, she always manages to turn the trip into trouble!
Windshield is done, soon as my load of wash finishes, sis and I are heading over to the museum. If there's anything exceptionally interesting, I'll take pix and post while I have wifi. Not sure when I'll have it again! I just love having wifi and being able to sit in the rv and catch up with all of you guy's!
