Welcome apackoftwo! We have a lot of fun on this forum, and can find out anything (almost) you want to know! We even found jomilt slippers!
I have a motorhome, have never had a trailer, other than a small 10ft to pull my quad in, but have heard a lot of good things about Fleetwood. Of course, it's like anything else, you'll hear good and bad about any product.
Good luck in your efforts, and you'll learn a lot about rv'ing at the conference. Learn to laugh at trouble now,or you won't have anything to laugh at when you're old! Sharon & Sam the Cat with Attitude

Apackof2, I've never attended those seminars as when I started RVing.. there wasn't any.. but from people I met that had, they all said it was informative..and then comes the real world of as it happens.. Keep a Sense of Humor and just tuck it up and you'll be alright..! We've all had our moments and still do but it's like living in a house cepting this one has wheels to it.. things go wrong..but common sense is a great factor.! I have a lot of friends at the dog show that have Fleetwood Rigs.. I've owned Allegros, AirStream, Holidays, GulfStreams, and now Winnebago.. and I have to say my Allegro was one of the best.. This Adventure runs a close second so far..AirStream was in a class by herself..that was a TT all the others were ClassA.. The one this is have a good service center cause that's the Big Issue.. I've been all over the USA cepting Alaska..and I have like people have maps for places well I have centers for service..that was mainly with my GulfStream..won't go there !!! I have in my home base a Center I've been dealing with for 20+ years and I pray they never close any thing I have done is done correctly.. and each time before I head out on a big trip or head south I have everything checked and always carry spare parts cause some places you land may not have them.. but I'm sure you have this covered in your seminar.. Check Sharon's list what she had done before going on her journey.. but you are going with a TT and that you will also do a check list..wheels and hitch etc etc etc.. You pup looks sweet and I'm sure you both will have lots of great outings.. My friends also just took the early outs from GM as well.. hey good deal !!
God Bless Barbzeee

Life is full of surprises, just go with the flow !

Thanks all & good advise Barbzeee!
BTW my name is Joanie and yes Maddie is awesome!
I did a road trip out West last summer, to Montana & Wyoming and breezed through Idaho too. Didn't make any reservations and had the best time!
Any ways Maddie did the 5,000 miles and hiking up & down mountains & in & out of motels, ranches without a peep. I am crazy about her. Could ya tell? LOL Together we are a "apackof2"
Actually it was that trip that made me realize what I wanted to do and that was travel, FULL TIME !
So here I am one year later and with the offer from GM I can do it NOW!
Well I did it! Tomorrow I go to sign papers for my new 2005 (never used) Fleetwood Orbit!
I love it! Its adorable and quality!
I am sooooooo excited!

Froggi Donna I am sure I WILL be wearing my cowboy hat AND my boots too!
YEEHAW!! ;)

Congrats Joanie and Maddie...first on your retirement and next on finding this forum. You are sure to find friends, answers, and recipes for some "far out liver treats"...LOL! All kidding aside, I can't let a day pass without checking out what's happening here. The advice is factual, the hints practical, and the comraderie priceless!
I also took a GM offer and will be hitting the "retirement roles" July 1st. It's kinda scary, but I'm jumping in with both manicured feet, my co-pilot Molly the Beagle, and all my friends on this forum. I always said I wouldn't retire without either a hobby or a husband...well...I bought a new 26' class C and will smile every mile I drive!
Best of luck! I can't wait to see where your adventures guide you!

Hey Sunseeker Looks like there might be a few of us GM folk! I know what you mean about being a little scary but like you, I am going for the brass ring
I am not sure when I go. I am not signing papers until June 23 plus I have a house to sell
However hitting the road is just around the corner!
Looking forward to hearing about your adventures too ;)
