G'mornin' Fernie, Ambien is that sleep medication that supposedly had people eating and driving while they were still sleeping. I had you posting in your sleep. 1984 Class A Allegro Bogie the Pit (rescued) Practise random acts of kindness.

Thanks for the welcome to your state! So far, our rains have been at night..clearing off in the daytime. That is good vacation rain, don't you think?
Usually the bad Texas weather is not in our area..which is Bellville, 50 miles west of Houston. My online computer weatherbug didn't warn me of any bad weather last night for Bellville.
How are those 3 baby dogs?? Haven't chatted in a while...hope y'all are FINE!!! Thanks for the "nod" Jomilt From Texas

Hey Joella- the "kids" are great...they love the camper and my resolve to "make" them sleep on the floor or in their own beds went right out the window the first night..they sleep with me at home and they refused to sleep anywhere besides my bed in the camper...wonder who "owns" who here? Glad you are having fun in Branson..it's a blast! I agree..the best vacation rain is night time rain..the sun is finally shining here..I say that tongue in cheek so as not to scare it off! I got lucky. My 80 pounder slept in the bed when we were in a house, and I was sure it was gonna be tight in this full sized bed with walls all around LOL - but first night he decided the couch was ALL his. Funny thing, he's never been allowed on couches - but that's where he stays when I'm driving and that's now his bed. I keep a sheet on it, much easier to keep it clean that way.
My other dog quit jumping on anything long ago (except in rare occasions) when her hip hurt enough that jumping no longer felt good to her. Plus she likes to be on the coolest floor she can find.
I must admit that while I like having my bed - I also miss having one of them with me. Right now, I keep getting an evil eye from Tips - I'm sitting on HIS couch and it is past HIS bedtime LOL. Smiling is contagious - try it!
