Hi I was told by a women in a NC CG that she and spouse work through KOA campgrounds. Spend summers in NC and winters in Az. I joined and sent resume to an opening in Bar Harbor, Me. It was on the ocean right by the state park. It sounded wonderful. It went from May 15th through Sept 15 and was full-time so I turned it down.(I had just stopped working full-time and couldn't face the prospect so soon) I asked about job sharing but they said that would mean two employee sites instead of one and they didn't do that. Eventually, I hope to do it too. I would have loved that Me position part-time. It was store clerk/registration. Marysdream Its all good!!!!!

I look at Workamper News - but I won't go near most KOA's - just aren't my type of cg's most of the time. But that's just me! Last 2 of them I stayed at I left early - and haven't stayed at one since. BTW, Mary, your dog wouldn't have been allowed at either of these also.
If you like state parks, the TX state park/cg's usually use workampers for one month stints - first time needs to be 2 months so they can train you. The one I talk to requires 24 hours a week - it's considered a volunteer position. Smiling is contagious - try it!

Bethers I stayed at two of them but through necessity. They were well taken care of but are all more expensive, I think. I'll check out Workampers News too. Marysdream Its all good!!!!!

I used to stay at KOA's when I had the boy child travel with me. I went there because of the pool and game rooms. We always had a dog and had no problem. I wouldn't stay there now. I don't need a pool or a game room. 1984 Class A Allegro Bogie the Pit (rescued) Practise random acts of kindness.
