I'm still a weekend warrior and work with the public. I practice lots of hand washing. I keep my hands away from my face and eyes. I usually turn away from someone coughing or sneezing and hold my breath a moment if I've been sprayed. On a micro level, a sneeze can travel 15 feet! Many people forget that the eyes are an open portal to the body. A pair of glasses can protect them. I've seen people wear gloves in their jobs but then eat their lunch still wearing those gloves! eew! During flu season, stay out of the crowds. More important, stay well rested and eat well. The immune system needs those tools to fight the invaders. I may sound like a germaphobe but it has worked for me.

I am Sparkle but can only adventure on the weekends and vacation days. We purchased an Allegro Bay 2001 34' in November in Seffner FL. My roomie and I love it. I've read and researched everything I can get my hands on and have learned a lot in the short time. Full timers are also like walking encyclopedia sets. They amaze me and are so full of information and experiences! In seeing the picture of your RV I can't help but wonder if you recently visited Koreshan or is there another "84" out there sparkling like yours?

I did change the narrow trim on it. It was ORANGE and brown and orange are so 80's. Tiffin still stocks that trim. I must confess I only polish the brown bits. It's like those bag lady types you sometimes see, a real mess, but beautifully manicured nails. 1984 Class A Allegro Bogie the Pit (rescued) Practise random acts of kindness.

Hey---I saw two flamingos that must have missed that Florida bird flue you posted. They were standing proud and tall in someone's yard on my way home this evening. Just wanted to let you know!!! Groovin Grannie Fernie and Running Bear (Winnebago Warrior)

On subject of Bird Flu Pandemic - there is a TV special on Tuesday evening this week about Bird Flu. Sorry, didn't catch channel(CNN?) but it will be posted. It is more and more in the news although still don't see it spreading rapidly to humans. Agree frequent hand-washing, avoiding crowds, keeping nutrition and rest a priority are best safeguards for any Flu. If a pandemic ever does happen, I hope that all the preparations being made allow us to know what areas to avoid. Each state is setting up some sort of monitoring system which will really help to stop the spread. I can remember when kids were quaranteened(sp?) with Scarlet Fever. I would expect that would be happening too if people are well enough to be out of hospital. There is so much more available today for instant information it is incredible. I think we will be OK even if it does hit. :) Marysdream Its all good!!!!!

Birds are still standing. These must be Tn. Flamingos!! They are used to moonshine so Barbzeee's cake wouldn't phase them!! LOL A few years ago, a flock of Flamingos would land on some business's yard. The Flamingos refused to leave until the business donated to whatever charity they were promotion. I think they were the same line of Flamingos as Sparkle's !!:) Groovin Grannie Fernie and Running Bear (Winnebago Warrior)
