if you love to pack up to go on a trip and hate to unpack when you get home. Would you believe I am still unpacking. I would have had enough food for a month and underwear for two months. (not counting the bloomers). :)

Yep Shirl :) - and people say there isn't enough space in an rv!!! I'm trying to take stuff out I never used - but just like in a house, I'm sure I'll need it in there sometime!

ShirlV...I think it is a "learned thing" and you'll get better at it as time goes on.
We used to travel a lot on a motorycle, and had to take everything essential on the bike. It was imperative I learned to pack light. So, I do. Traveled all over Europe via train and bus with one small, soft-sided carry on. Darn, I'm GOOD!!
You'll get there, dear friend...and this "un-packing job" is a good lesson...Grin..

OOOOOOHHHHHHHH ! one more adventage of full-timing. NO UNPACKING. Small disadvantage....where does everything go? But it's so much fun figuring it out.
You might be a modern RVer if, the first thing you do is take out the chair (one behind the passenger seat) and put in a small computer desk. :8|: Have to have all of you with us down the road.

I keep learning you have to have less and less..so when you get back home.. nothing you have to do ! Now that's still something I have to keep telling myself...cause I must be a gatherer LOL...
Aaaaaaaaah but one thing... you might be an RVer if ya don't ever want it to end :) I think most of us will agree to that...
God Bless....endlessly...

you read the Atlas more than the newspaper
you get "hitch Itch"
you run away from family to go play in the middle of nowhere
you have that one special dress for weddings, night out or funeral
you don't own a alarm clock
what's a suitcase? :p

Hi - I just went grocery shopping for the week and love the fact I have to think so carefully about what I'm buying, where I'll put it, when I'll prepare it. It seems it took forever for me to pack my small rig and everything I need is in there. It amazes me-downsizing is great. Keeps life very simple. So I guess you might be an RVer is you love simple!

Hope you are planning another trip soon when weather is better. I wound up in northern NY way too early. In fact tonight it is supposed to be 27 - 33. Am headed south again to Watkins Glen and postponing trip to Nova Scotia for a month. In meantime, will meet my son for Mother's Day in Phillie where I understand it is 70 today!!!
:)

Marysdream, The temperatures in Md. are hovering around the low 60's too. I am glad you are meeting your son. Nothing better than a hug for Mother's Day. I have planned a couple of trips with my RV Club. I am working the next two weeks at the hospital (gas money :))and enjoying the cool spring.
