Well, if spring has arrived in Tenn, then it can't be too far away from MD! Horay!!!
I spent some time in my MH this weekend running up the generator. It was COLD!!! But, I still love just going out and sitting in it and DREAMING!
Already made a reservation for a long weekeng at Gettysburg for May. KOA is offering a free day on the 12th, so figured might as well take advantage of it. It's close enough to home but I am really looking forward to it.
Anyway, c'mon Spring! Paulette Maryland

Had a really nice visit with Jenny and Dan in Palm Desert today, what an awesome couple, make you feel like family right off the line! Also met Sasha, Felix, and Biff the kitties. Biff has to be the biggest cat I've ever seen in my life, and felix is a sweetie pie! Sasha is gorgeous, but very shy. My Sam the Cat isn't talking to me since I smell like Felix! We went to Coco's for lunch, we just talked like we had known each other forever. Couldn't talk them into leaving early, and they refused to take the blame for the rain, even tho I know it's all their fault! It's been following them for months!!! LOL! It was warm there, but pretty breezy, so glad I wasn't driving the rv. Ya'll have a good night. We got pictures, so will post them when Jenny sends them to me. Good Roads, Sharon

I DID NOT bring the rain down here with me...did not..did not ... did not. I feel like the commercial where the person is trying to run away from a rain cloud and it just keeps going over their heads.hee-hee. Two months of rain is two months too long and we had it for 30 days straight.. a record! I swear we had webbed feet!
Had a great visit & lunch with Sharon and my dear sweet hubby talked her ear off...next time I bring my Time out whistle so I can have Sharon all to myself. She spoiled Felix galore, surprised he didn't go home with her but then Sam the Cat would not be amused. When Sharon left it WAS nice and sunny and warming up again. Hey thanks for leaving the sunshine. I was amazed at all the knowledge Sharon knew about RVing, she knows alot!
The way this kooky weather is I wish I was back in Mexico! I'll head there next year, till then I'll head to Algodones for some fun next month. Photo's are on the way to Sharon :) Seeya down the road, Jenny

Ok Jenny, it's not your fault! Next time we leave Dan at home to play pickle ball with the guys and you and I go shopping and out to lunch by ourselves!!! LOL But can we take Felix???? Love that cat! Here are the pictures (hopefully), and I hope to add more pictures of our friends to my album as time goes by! So far I've got Fernie, Irene and Jenny.

Hi, everyone! Well, I'm not out of Oregon yet, but I am living in my very, very tiny travel trailer and learning how to do everything before I hit the road. I'm staying in a little RV park near my family members and really just trying to get everything set up inside this incredibly small space so that I can function once I actually hit the road. I'm so excited -- and frightened -- and excited -- and frightened!!!!
I have a couple of questions for you: Can anyone recommend a good ISP for traveling around the country? Or are they all pretty much the same? I've been using the only one available where I used to live (Yes, we've moved out of our home -- really, really difficult emotionally, but it was time to move on). I'm just wondering about local access numbers, services available, if any -- or if anyone uses something like wireless on a regular basis -- or even satellite.
Also, if I decide to try out staying occasionally in a Walmart parking lot, how do I know ahead of time which ones permit overnight stays and which ones don't?
Oh, and regarding weather, Oregon is the worst right now. It's rained every day since I started staying in the trailer, and I'm really getting cabin fever -- although I do meet my daughter almost every day for lunch.

Laleeda, Congrats are in order.. You will be ok.. My first rig was tiny.. it took some getting use to.. but you know it became so comfy I hated giving her up.. As far as the Walmarts.. I've never stayed at any ..and they only let you stay overnight..There is a web site that use to list them.. have to ask around from other RVers .. I use a PC card.. as before that I would connect with my cell phone via an office kit setup..and there has only been a few places that I couldn't connect.. Check prices and compare.. I'm sure all the Gals will put their inputs in.. When are you actually planning your trip out ? Sharon will I'm sure be able to give you good route from the west coast...I've traveled all different routes when we were doing the dog shows.. from the Northern route to the Southern route.. I do know you need to get a weather radio.. you can pick them up at Radio Shack.. so you can check weather in areas that you are...also tune radio in your vehicle as you drive. I know it must be a little difficult letting go...but you are now on a "New" beginning..and we're all here to support you.. You're gonna just love waking up all different areas.. aaah them sunsets and sunrises... Welcome to the Highway of Life ...
God Bless Barbzeee
PS I use Verizon... they are almost everywhere.. Life is full of surprises, just go with the flow !
