Spring is here!
It's a little cool here in Crystal River, at 40 degrees this morning, but they say that this is the last of the cool and things will warm up nicely from here on. Things are blooming and there are new leaves popping out on the trees. LOVE Florida in February! Especially since it was below zero in my native New England yesterday! Our relatives hate it when we call up and report the temperature.......
Getting ready to move tomorrow. We're not going far -- just changing to a shadier site in the same park. But we still have to secure everything for the trip down the hill. The new site is much sandier, so we got a new patio mat that will sift the sand through. Will be fun to see how the light in the new site changes things....love the changes that new sites bring. I'm getting Hitch Itch, so hopefully the new site will help until we head north around the first of April.
How are things at your end of the swamp this morning?

It is 54 here in Tn. this morning. I went out to the car to get something and it was like spring!! The birds were chirping up a storm. Of course I feed them so they were probably letting me know I was interrupting their breakfast!!

The swamp is frozen here in northern VT, Mary Ellen. It's 8 degrees right now and going to "warm up" to at least 20 today! Signs of spring here? Cabin fever. Just my jealousy talking. Next year will gone. :)

Ah Carole....memories of Vermont......
Spent almost 15 years in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont! Talked to my brother in St. J last night and he said it was really cold. But not much snow this winter, he said. Vermont has 9 months of winter and 3 months of damn poor sleddin'.
I moved to Maine for love in 1998 and Maine has two seasons: July and wintah!
I wish to report that I do not miss snow and bitter cold. Ayuh.

It's raining here in So. Ca., but Jenny (Seeyagal) is over in Palm Desert, and I'm sure it's all her fault. The rain just seems to follow her!!! I'm meeting her for lunch today, and then will see if I can get her and DH to move along out of our area!!! LOL! I'm leaving on another sand trip Thurs and sure do want the weather to clear up!! Tee Hee!
Good Roads,
Sharon

I'm sooooooo jealous. I thougth spending a winter in bama would be so much better than WI - but I'm still cold LOL. It's supposed to hit 70 today tho - so I'll take advantage and get the dogs and myself outside shortly.
Next winter will be in a warmer area - Florida or Texas - I really believe if you're going to have winter, you should really experience it like the northern states do. So pretty there. But if I came south to get warm, I want the warmth you've got in TX and FL!

Spring is here indeed. I had to make a trip to Chattanooga today ( 1 1/2 hours from here) and the Bradford Pear trees were starting to bloom and the redbud trees!! I was pleasantly surprised!!
