Christine, Bathing a Yorkie is not hard at all.. I showed Yorkies..in fact lost 2 last year 18 and 15.. they were such joys and courages little rascals. I used a baby bath or you can use depending on the type of bathroom set up.. I have a shower with a seat and great sprayer.. and if you do cut to short coat...as I had full lenght coats.. use a low suds shampoo and cream rinse..rinse out and use those absorb towels to damp dry..and mine loved the blow dryer..well they grew up with it..but it's really easy..You should see me do my Rotties...now that's something.. ( I also have outside shower)..and my Cresteds they enjoy the shower..in fact I often have one in with me..LOL Yes, they sit on the chair..and I lather and they get lathered..now that's litterally going to the dogs ... As far as computer..you can either use your cell phone connection...or some campgrounds do have internet available ...or I use a PC Card... Sattelite ..I have dish on top..and I have DirecTV but alot of RVers use Dish..I don't know about it costing that kind of money..I think someone one was stretching it on you.. but RV places run sales on those..if you are looking for unit to be permanent Camping world has sales all the time.. and there are also the portable Dishes as well... so check out prices.. the service depends on what you want go to their web sites... www.directv.com or www.dishtv.com and camping world.. www.campingworld.com Hope this helps you... but always check prices..as today everyone is competing for your bucks :)

DirectTV is the best Satellite service to use because all their programming comes from ONE satellite, where Dishnet comes from two. The Satellite Antennas will have to be re-set to go from one satellite to the other, where needed with Dishnet. Your antennae at home is stationary and doesn't move and that antennae has a "skew" that allows it to get both Satellites. The ones for RV's don't have skew.
The Automatic Antennas atop the roof will switch automatically, when the main user wishes to go to another channel that requires the other Satellite....BUT if one person is watching Satellite A in the bedroom, and the user in the living room wishes to watch something on Satellite B... the one in the bedroom loses their program!!
And then the Fist Fight begins.. :)
I have had both Dishnet and Direct TV...and now have Direct TV. Both give equal service, and I have not compared prices since I need ALL shows on ONE satellite, thus use Direct TV all the time...at home and in our RV. Happy Travelin'

I don't have anything for tv - if I'm not staying anywhere with tv service, I do without - I love to read and have lots of other ways to keep myself occupied.
I do have to be online at least 5 days out of the week, tho, cuz that's what keeps me on the road :) - so far, I've done ok by finding places. I looked into satellite for it, which I'd love to do, but way more than I was willing to spend. I might get the pc card through my cell phone carrier - but I'm waiting to see if it will work where I'll be based this summer - cuz otherwise it's not worth it. Most seem to like Verizon for this, but I just found some others that prefer Cingular. When I was out west, Cingular didn't have as good a service as Verizon - but I've had better luck with Cingular than Verizon in some other areas. Bethers

I have the DISH network, my dish is on a tripod and I get both satellites. I've had Direct Tv also and I like DISH better.

Hey Bethers, if you go with Verizon.. ...then you could be apart of my network LOL Hey I've had Verizon for ages..well when it was the original Bell systems.. I think they all are about the same today..Verizon does have a huge network and price wise they are compatable.. if you change your cell service and do come on Verizon..let me know cause then girlfriend.. we'll be gabbing hahaha.. My PC card has really worked everywhere I've been..sometimes it's broadband..other times it's National Access.. I've not been blocked out..but I will tell you up in Maine I did have a few problems..and mainly because of no towers..so that may also be a problem with PC card... you'll have to ask.. Ask Margo..she'd be able to tell you more in chat...

Exactly Barbzeeeeeeeeee - I'm told NH and ME will both be problems - so if I go with the card - I want to at least be sure it will work from my home base - otherwise I'm thinking of getting high speed connected to me there from the local isp - got to talk to them and see if they'll do it just for the season! And I'll have to work around on the road.
When in some places last year - Cingular worked, Verizon didn't and vice versa - I'm having a terrible time getting either of them to tell me specifically if it will work at that one area. Bethers
