Do any of ya'll keep a Travel Journal, and if so...how is it set up?...I do "Journal"...and I have all mine from years back. But, mine include ALL of life..and I need just a Travel Journal.
Sometimes, I want to look up a particular RV park that we stayed en route to a destination. Can't remember the location..or town name. Or..we come upon a new park..NOT listed in my RV Park book..I do write these down in the Park Book.. or "critique" them in the Park book.. When I buy a new book..I don't go thru page by page and transfer that info..
I want to write the info about the parks we stay at.. plus NOT have to read thru page by page to find it again..So, I want a index for each state..Hard to alphabetize that as they are stayed in..
Sometimes I need the mileage traveled in the past to a "certain place"...and would be easier to access the daily mileage...than re-figure it from the map..
Love to hear your ideas/solutions to this.

Nope, no journal, haven't ever been one to write stuff down, haven't been traveling long enough to worry about where I've been,am definitely not organized, and prefer to "wing it", which is why my brother-in-law calls me Wingnut. One of the nicer things he's called me over the years! Good Roads, Sharon

Yes I have a daily journal since I am a fulltimer I use the CAMPER'S DAILY RECORD BOOK and I record info on the sample below

Date Arrived Odometer Left Odometer Weather Miles traveled

Gas/oil food camp fees meal's enter- Misc out tainment
total expenses________________________________
Campground Information Name_____________ Directions__________________________ Address__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tel_________________site___________________ other good sites_____________________ Check boxes below that apply __electricity __showers __store ___boat landing __water __flush toilets __fishing __shade __sewer __laundry __swimming
Rating: __Excellent__Good__Fair__Poor
On the back page you have lines to write in Highlights, new friends New Ideas, side trips or whatever.
I buy alot of these because there are times I do go back to years past and look up a campground and get directions or a rating for someone else. I just write the Year on the front cover.
You can get them through Motorhomeandmore.com Camper's Daily Record Book $4.35
I love them and it helps me to remember where I was all the time because people ask and I think "Ah..." with these I know right away. Helps you figure out what your yearly expenses were quickly too.
I also have a journal on the puter but have to admit I am more forgetful to keep that one up to date. With the daily one it helps me remember all that I did. Seeya down the road, Jenny
