My hubby & I are shopping for a fifth wheel. The Cardinal floorplan & amenities are surely nice. The dealer is really wooing us. However I don't know anything about Forest River products. I read positive & negative things about it in the review section of this site. Would love to hear from you women about your personal experiences with that brand ---and what your husbands think of it.

Dear Joan,
My husband & I fulltimed for 2 years in a Cardinal 5th wheel 28RKB. I loved it. Lots of storage and kitchen was very workable. Water capacity was good. We pulled it over 12,000 miles without a problem. My husband is a real handyman and checked out the unit thoroughly before we hit the road. We feel that dollar for dollar it was a good purchase. It had everything we needed, but not of the "fluff" which we don't require. Good luck!!
