Well I sure messed up with my question:( Gees, yes I sure do want a stove to boil things and fry up some eggs etc. Darn I mean the oven. So do you all think that with a microwave a stove and crock pot I could possibly make my Hubby alot of things and never miss that oven. I have sat here and chuckled for quite a few minutes rereading your posts and wham !!!!!! the light came on "OVEN" what are they talking about and lololo took over. Again thanks for your comments tomorrow rain then the 70's rest of week in Six Mile, S.C. near Clemson.

Peggy,
I think the advice that got with that first round of responses was right on the money. Ovens still provide storage on the road. Ovens can brown things quite nicely. Ovens are extremely handy when boondocking or dry camping. And there's just no match for the smell of fresh baked bread coming out of the RV oven.
Yes they rattle a lot but we just pack ours with pots separated with kitchen towels. We just ordered a new RV and, like all the others, it's coming with a good, old fashioned oven. Hey, good luck with whatever you decide.
