Left yesterday on my way south...stopping in Ogden Ut this year for just a week

but will have enough time to see the kids and grandkids that live in the state. Also to have

my nephew check the landing gear on the 5th wheel..tonight went to what is called Witches night Out at on of the more eclectic shopping centers...lots of costumed people running about and who knows perhaps so real witches... was a fun night with my youngest daughter her daughter all of 10 months old and a friend of my daughters that I've known for years...it would be a re do if ever here at the correct time....

Open to leave here on Thurs for Quartzsite

Wow! I check the forum just about every day - great to find a post today, Sheila! Sounds like you're off and running. Safe travels, GF, and I'll see you in a couple of months. Evie

Guess I'll be wishing I could go to Q again. I am heading out on Friday for a GTG in Fort Worth. The last time I went to Dallas I kept going to Seattle. lol It's a little too early to head out to Q. Sharon is suppose to be at the GTG near Fort Worth so I will get to see her.

I had to bring one of the cats to the vet this morning. He was running a fever and I could tell he just didn't feel well. He's on antibiotics so hope he is better by Friday. It's Harold's favorite cat so guess he would give him his pill if he had to.

Here I am recruiting as many gals as we can for Q and I have a problem with my generator. Couldn't get it started when son and I tried it before my last campout. Noticed the gas was down to 1/4 tank, so I'm hoping that was the reason it wouldn't start. If it still won't start, my son will have to see if he can do something to it. Last time this happened and I took it to a repair shop it cost me $350! I start the thing periodically, too, so there won't be that problem, but who knows? These RV things are touchy! Really, really need the genie for Q! It's much too cold overnight and getting up in the a.m. without a heater and my batteries would deplete pretty fast if I couldn't recharge with the genie.

hope it gets better Evie!!! we had troubles with our genie our first season there...gaves us all sorts of fits. turned out to be some 10 dollar part that senses the oil was low when it wasn't so it would turn off...if I'm remembering correctly...been working ever since. might check the oil it can go sludgy even the gas can get yucky the guys last winter told me to put some stuff in it can't remember now what it was called took a bit to find some sort of additive that helps when it's not used as much but mine went to WA to help out some friends hopefully it worked well for them..

take care hope to see you in January
