I was just paying some bills online, clicked too fast on a link and low and behold RVAmerica popped. What a surprise to find some old friends still on here. I am on several different groups on facebook but am getting a little tired of them all. There are several hundred people in each group so you never get to really know anyone and it is the same old questions over and over.

Does it seem like it to you that everyone and their dog woke up one morning and decided to sell their house, buy an rv and go fulltime even though they have never set foot in one and have absolutely no idea of what is going on? Guess I'm just getting jaded.

Joella, I am so sorry that you and Rhonda aren't going to make it to the Pink FlaminGoes flocking in Galveston. Sounds like Vicki really has a lot of fun things planned. Sheila, did you get a group together this winter out in Quartzsite?

I'm coming back to the Valley after I leave Galveston and won't head north until probably sometime in late May. Other than visiting the kids in West Virginia and Colorado, I don't have anything definite planned for the summer. Kind of thinking I would like to spend most of October in the Phoenix area. October and March are my two favorite months out there and I still have so many friends there. As usual, my plans are in jello.

Just had to jump in and say, "howdy." It was so great to see some people still inhabit this site where we all got acquainted. Saw Pooker had checked in earlier.

Hey - great to hear from you! There are only a handful of us here now, and we don't post that often, so it's nice to have old friends drop in! Stick around, okay? Pooker

Sheila - I see you on several of the facebook pages but on facebook I just use my name - Sue Ross - rather than my gypsysuzy. Sometimes I forget that the friends I have on here only recognize the gypsysuzy name. Good to hear from you too, Pooker.

Good to see you (and me) on here Sue!!

I have never been a Facebook fan... I'm a talker...and Facebook is mostly a one or two sentence deal... I do know some who do their weekly "series" on Facebook...and that takes care of their writing e-mails to everyone...I don't care for that either.. I am a Letter Writer and I adore my letters coming in and hearing from my friends often... Your "jello plans" for Phoenix sound A-OK...

Sheila, I'm really proud of you for the long walks...that is SO good for you... I hear your plans for the batteries...and saving money and coming back early enough to get them next Q season..

Pooker, good to chat with you again and am glad I'm on here..

Thanks for REMEMBERING ME....hahahahaha!!

That's funny Sue - everyone and their dog just woke up and bought an RV. I looked for years for women to camp with and now I can't go to all the rallies I know about. I just shake my head about some of the groups that are buying "vintage" rv's. I have enough trouble keeping my 12 year old motorhome on the road. I sure don't want a 30 to 40 year old rv. If you can work on it yourself that's one thing but if you have to pay someone to do the work it adds up fast.

It was so good to see you in Galveston. We had so much fun. We have the best group.

Funny Martha - a few years ago I couldn't find women to RV with either. Then met several and in the midst my daughter had twins and has needed much help. Soooooo - being a grandma kind of took over even though they live about 4-1/2 hours away. Have enjoyed being grandma for awhile. In the meantime, the RV is sitting in storage not being used. OH, I did go out a week or so ago to start it up and run the generator. Works like a charm. I just might be over the RV thing????

I don't do Facebook either but several just go there. Things change don't they?
