The sun is shining at our home, and this is good..We have had unusual ice storms, and Milt is out cleaning up broken off limbs from damaged trees. Our fruit trees had limbs to the ground with the weight of the ice...but they thawed out nicely and are standing straight now.. Last year, we had a hailstorm tear off all the peaches and we ended up with about 8... We are hoping we'll do far better this year!

I have the office computer fixed now so can get on... but the den one I use on my lap daily... I cannot fix it.. So FAR!! I'll study on this one and see if it will help me get the other one fixed as well.

I hope all of you have wintered this BAD winter and are all ready for spring... Milt certainly is... I go with the flow...whatever God gives me....I enjoy it!

Have a wonderful day and ENJOY! I'll certainly enjoy being able to chat with y'all every so often.. Happy days All!!

Joella

yea joella made it on

wow so good to see you! been so long...and glad that you faired the winter ok...and we will hope more peaches than 8 as well that is hardly enough for peaches and cream

and we will hope that someone besides me sees your post...we have been so few lately...I know that Evie is on a bus trip with Sharon...think she will be back soon...others pop in occasionally perhaps we can generate some interest again

I made it down to Q in Dec after some stress and worry and what have you...will fill you in one day but all is well well sorta mine batteries are shot in the 5th well or close to it so need to make the decision of what kind and when well that will depend upon when I can afford them...also thinking of increasing my solar panels...at least by one panel. I'm out in the desert again...so love the space and quite here. Did you know that I got a dog a year ago Dec.? A mix not sure totally which I was told long haired doxy and ????????????? if he is long haired doxy he takes after the mixture that we don't know what ...but he has been a good dog for the most part ..has this habit of not nibbling but sorta make since? and he dislikes my son in law so bad...I think he was in an abusive home whether he was or his mistress or what but he dislikes loud sounds and certain shapes of men he will warm up to them some what but Fred oh my he would like to take him out bad thing is Fred is a deputy sheriff and packs heat so I keep them apart when I'm up north...

we will talk later and so excited to see you on

Hi Joella, glad you managed to get back in here.

Harold and I are so tired of this winter. Most years we only have a couple of nights that it freezes and this winter we have had ice 3 times and I lost track of how many times it has been below freezing. Harold planted 3 orange trees last year. He managed to kill 2 of them and I have been trying to help the last one get through the freezes. It will interesting to see if it survives.

Are you and Ronda going to Galveston? I finally got around to making my reservations today.

Martha

I'm b-a-c-k! And so happy to see a post from Joella! Glad you're doing fine and getting ready for the big Spring push in your yard. Sharon and I visited an absolutely gorgeous casino/hotel on a bus tour. It's very spa-like, beautiful décor, extremely helpful and friendly employees, good food, and each of us received $50 in free slot credit plus two $10 discounts on food. We grazed our way around the wonderful buffet both evenings! Nice outlet mall just across the street with Southwest/Native American architecture and wandering pathways around rocks and waterfalls. We had such a good time! And best of all, I played the penny machines all 3 days on their money! Never had to put any of my own money in. Managed to cash out around $20, so it was nice of them to pay me to come play! Evie
