We haven't had much going on here have we?

So thought that I would chat about my day, or days depends upon how chatty I get

Where I'm at my second born and her husband live with 5 children ranging from think 14 down to almost 7 (twins) and also my third born and her don a 16 year old live here so it's a very busy hectic place...to make it more hectic dd is working on getting her masters plus when school was on she was a sub for the district and usually worked almost every day some where...her husband is a deputy sheriff besides a commander for the guard so he is gone often like this week the whole week...so I feel that I should help out oh also dd is very sports minded for her boys oldest boy is in baseball then in foot ball think basket ball and wrestling depending upon the season of the year so she is not only gone to work but then in the evenings for his sport...don't think his brother is into sports and think he won that battle :) the youngest boy is in t ball...I know how busy she is so feel like I should help out in the ways I can not into sports so I stay home and fix a meal so it's ready when they get home do dishes and trying to catch up on the laundry...Went to my mom's over in Jackson as the gs had a double header in Jackson so visted with my mom they had had a work day near mother's day to work on her yard and still needed to get rid of the green stuff so loaded that into my truck and the other dd and her son took it to the dump.. Mom and I went to the nursery and bought 5 flats of plants. On Sunday she asked me if we could come over and plant them so went to day planted pansy's, snaps, and forget the name of the other the petunia's are still too small so will plan on doing them later perhaps in a week and she wants me to pick her up some Columbine for one area and really need to add something the the pansys there is a circle in it that needs something with height...was a good day then came home and cleaned out the freg so tired now...My direct tv has been on vacation say on the notice yesterday that they sent a statement so guess it's off vacation need to find the phone number has I wanted to make some changes and simply have a heck of a time finding the satalite but tomorrow going to Rexburg to pick up my stuff that came North on a trailer ...so thats my world how is yours?

Certainly not as busy as yours! I swear, Sheila, I get tired just reading all you do! Guess I should drink whatever you drink.

I find that I can't do too many errands in a day nowadays. I get so wiped out. So, I've been pretty busy all week, too, but not all of it for myself. I have a 92-year-old friend who recently settled into assisted living. Her closest son and DIL have taken off in their rig for 2 months. Two other sons live a bit further away (40-50 miles) and all three of them seem to dust their hands off and figure Mom's settled and ok. Nobody visits or calls. I have become her go-to person to take her to church, doctors, dentist, etc. I spent most of two days this week on her - measuring for a dorm fridge and checking stores for prices; church, doctor's office all the time folding her oversize walker and stuffing it on the back seat of my car for each stop. I can't manage to lift it in and out of my trunk. Can't help wondering what the darn thing is doing to my velour seats. Anyway, got home from helping her at 4:45 to find a message from my son. His car broke down and he's stranded 30 miles from here. Needs money for parts, too. I ate my leftovers cold and drove to the city. Got lost in construction! Got over stressed when other cars were looking for places to u-turn, etc. Anyway, I got home just after dark. I can't help thinking I can barely manage my own life, but feel like I'm managing two more! Next day discovered my vehicle insurance company had me on paperless, but no billing came even in email. Got guy on the phone and he couldn't understand why i was upset - I should know when things are due and just send a check. What? How do I know how much? No paper bill to accompany check? Not even a policy to know what coverage actually is? TAKE ME OFF PAPERLESS! I never asked to get it in the first place.

THEN the car needed to be smogged. State has a new policy and I had to go to a "special" smog shop. What? Okay, got that done. Glad it passed. New cell phone didn't send bill either. Oops! They are paperless, too. They also don't send notices. What's with this? When I called, gal said just come into the store and pay so your phone won't be shut off. Get to store, make out check while waiting my turn, only to have the gal say "we don't take checks". They will only do electronic transfer on my bank card. So, I'm guessing that means I'll never get any bill or notification. I don't want automatic payments from my checking account. When my DH died it was a nightmare for me to stop all the payments from accounts that didn't have money going in (SS and pension deposits stop immediately). Grrrr. And it's only Wednesday!

BUT, Sharon and I are heading south to the beach area this Sunday. Boy am I looking forward to it! She takes her two GDs someplace camping every year and every so often I tag along. They are darling girls and I'm eager to go. I'll spend today taking inventory and packing Flitter because Thurs, Fri, and Sat. are all booked up!

Heck, now that I write this all down, I'm just as tired reading my days as I am reading yours!

You gals make me tired just reading your schedules. I need to take the pup for his walk and then I know he will take a nap when we get back. But, I need to do some weeding out in the house and then start packing to head out in the MH next week. Enjoy your days! Think this forum is down to us three. LOL

Evie talk about wearing a person out you managed to wear me out...went today and got my stuff that I sent with friends it's a college town about 45 miles away am thinking came home and dd left so that she could get her son to a double header about 15 miles south of where we had just left...she is gone so much don't know who I feel the sorryest for her or the kids...then i found my time waster...40 thieves....and wasted time but did get a couple of loads in and washed but the last one didn't do something right so it is now washing and I've given up for the night hopefully dd will transfer them if not will do them in the am...

Evie you have fun with Sharon and her GD how fun that would be to go to the beach
