Glad to hear - you're right about the mind thing. Our rig had an actual temperature gauge, not the green into red type or the idiot light, but the actual temperature numbers. We could see exactly how hot the stupid engine was and it freaked us out! Never did crack the block or do any other damage. Bet that darn Revcon is still on the road!!!

Safe travels.

made it to SLC to KOA asked for a drive through and that I was going to stay for a month. they didn't have any of their sites for monthly rate which is 450 plus deposit and electricty the other was 238 per week if I remember the amount then one of the gals said that she hadn't taken a back in in the monthy area off the list so I said but I've never backed it up someone would need to do that so they said they had someone that could took 3 men one driving 2 spotting what I'm sure Larry could do in 10 mins with one spotter (Me) it took them I'm sure 1/2 hour or more....guess its something that I'll have to take time to learn sooner than later...needed to fuel up and saw a Mavrick store so took the exit drive way so narrow and so many people couldn't get in so go around to come in the other way lots of cars a new Popeyes was opening so couldn't go that way got myself on a frontage road with not remembering if there was an entrance to the free way or not from it so wondered what to do when I saw a church steeple yes the parking lot is big and I can do it so went and found the church in one entrance out the other and backed tracked by on the freeway out a bit of time and diesel but I made it out of the problem and on ward and even made it to the campground with out the bell telling me that I was low on fuel!!!

will have to admit to being tired enjoyed the evening with daughter and son in law...

looking forward to being around others tomorrow

Glad you made it to SLC without any big problems. I always think how nice it would be to have more room but like my little motorhome when I am driving. Don't have to worry much about where I can get in and out of.

I'm still feeling bad from my trip to Texas. Have a cough that is hanging on. Last night I tried sleeping in a recliner but that didn't help much. Took a NyQuil about 5 this morning and slept until 10:30. Then I felt doped up most of the day.

Enjoy your time with family.

It's so nice to be settled for awhile, Sheila. Let your breath out now.

Martha - Sorry you still have the bug hanging around. Sometimes these things are downright nasty. Take care of yourself.

And, yeah, Sheila, that's why I have a Class C instead of a trailer or fiver. I remember what fun it was to back up the trailer and our's was so much smaller than yours! Don't forget, Larry had lots of practice. Someday when fuel is a tad cheaper and your energy level is high, bring someone along and go to a large parking lot and try backing into spaces from each direction. Unfortunately, I think the problem in most RV parks isn't the size of the sites so much as it is the narrowness of the roads.

But enjoy your visit.

Good morning girls. Looks like just us regulars on this thread?? Looks like it's going to be another beautiful day here on the central coast of CA. Yesterday it was sunny and gorgeous all day and saw that beautiful moon last night.

Shiela - so happy you got to your destination. Enjoy your time there. Are you starting to feel more comfortable driving pulling your 5er? Martha hope you kick that cough. Evie any trips planned? Are you going to the Good Sam rally in Gillette, WY? Think there's also a FMCA thing going on there.

Have a great day everyone.

Linda - no big trips planned (sigh), just my once a month outings with my GS chapter. I think I may be heading down to Chula Vista with Sharon this summer. She takes 2 granddaughters some place every year and now and then I get to tag along. The girls are sweethearts and I enjoy our outings with them.

They have that huge rally in Gillette every year I believe and it's sponsored by FMCA, Good Sam, Camping World, etc. I have friends who are going, tho. Are you going to try it?
