to move on that is...have been able to stay later in Q than I normally do but then all good things must come to an end eventually.

If it weren't for the reason that I want to stay in SLC for close to a month and be in Tetonia ID by Memorial Day weekend...I'd stay longer

We have had such a long spell of winds that am weary of them...but this weekend they are suppose to go and next week should be a good travel week

Have gotten to see so many neat flowers the desert has just been blossoming

I wondered when you would be heading back, Sheila. We had the awful winds, too. Hope the calm window lasts long enough for you to get under way. Drive safely.

We had some really windy days at home too. Have been at my daughter's near Tracy and I guess it is just kind of windy here but beautiful and sunny.

yep I do you wouldn't believe Alice how crammed full the basement is!!!

not sure if I will leave tomorrow or not the winds are suppose to die down in the afternoon so might run to MX in the am come home hook up and head to Needles or if it's low enough might forget the trip to MX and hope that I'm not making the wrong decision

Sheila - there's no right or wrong decision. If it's windy when you want to start out, just delay a bit. If you get into wind on the road, find a hole to bolt into - huddle behind a store, gas station, whatever. Limp into an RV park and sit it out. You have your snug little home with you, so home is wherever you park!

Drive safely, my friend.

was able to leave this morning around 10:30 AM and to Misquite NV around 7 yes I know that took a lot longer than it should....took a different route and over heated...need to address that and not sure what to do the mechanic nephew is in Ogden and I've lots of altitude to acheive so have a call into him to see what he suggests I do so I can make it ...really can't afford to have someone else fix it DN works with me with post dated checks ....and I trust his work

so well will see what happens

staying at a new rv park in Misquite next to Smith's will have to run over in the am grapes sound good...today I consumed grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes not sure which but where sure good

Shadow was such a good traveler today but he sure didn't want to come inside after a brief walk but sometimes the needs of the human need to be met

Oh ward and up ward tomorrow

sheila

oh and some winds but not enough to stop me

Glad to hear you got underway, but sorry for the overheating problem. One advantage of having a RV is a tank with water. Our old Revcon overheated every time we had to go over Cajon Pass (I-15) and we had to pull over just about the same spot every time we went that way. It became "our spot" to sit with the gear shift in neutral and racing the engine until the temp came down enough to add water. We sure were glad to have that partial tank of available water. Always had to allow the extra half hour for our boil-over time. It helped a little when we made the mix of antifreeze and water heavier on the antifreeze. Good luck - I know you have some more mountains to climb before you get home.

some times I think that we make things worse in our mind :) today wasn't bad got hot but not to the point that the gages were saying look at me!

Stopped in a little town where some friends live parked out in front of there house went to supper good talk and then several games of Skip Bo now trying to catch up so I can go to bed ...less than a hundred miles to go just need to plan the time of day to suite the rush hour traffic...

thanks
