I'll be in Q Jan. 20-24. Haven't a clue about the place we're staying this time since we got dropped from Rice Ranch. Supposed to be across the street(?). But, as you know, I don't have a car, so not sure I can get with you girls. Unless we can make plans once I'm there or you guys can come to me? Do we know of any others who will be there?

I sent you a PM about whether your cell number is the same and give you mine in case you don't still have it.

Joella - can you seriously consider taking Sheila up on her offer to stay with her in Q? Would really like to see you again and you know what happens when I venture to Texas so that might not be an option!

Sorry, I didn't get to the PM - got distracted because my son is here running down my to-do list and finding one problem after another that he has to fix. It was run, run, run all day yesterday and we never did get lunch and dinner was at the local Denny's late and we still had to buy his groceries! Didn't get out of there until 10:00 p.m. and just fell in bed.

Now he just discovered loose siding on the back of my mobilehome and removed all the screws to discover water damage! So, even though he still has to add power steering fluid and oil to Flitter and replace my wipers (rain is forecast this weekend and I'm leaving Thurs.) he's on the ladder fixing that! He promised a friend he'd be home by nightfall, but it doesn't look promising. If it ain't one thing, it's another, right?

So, I have your cell number and I'll call you once I light and get settled - perhaps Sun night?

Now - hoping you got off okay today. Got the snow off the slides, etc. Taking deep breaths. Gripping that steering wheel. Perhaps life will actually slow down after you get settled in Q. Sounds like we may get a bunch gathering and wouldn't that be great?

Take it slow and steady and talk to that invisible co-pilot. I'm sure he'll be right there beside you, cheering all the way.

Evie
