thought I would post about this again in hopes that some one has an idea of what to do

My hot water heater didn't get the suggested routine maintenese done on it so now that DH isn't here

to fix the problem it is being contrary...some times I have water pressure but most of the time I don't when I do I have hot water...my son drained the tank several time but there is a clog pipe or what ever somewhere...do any of you have ideas of what to do?? my son was working some crazy hours and just couldn't get it taken care of I know that it bothered Larry a lot just a few days before he died he was trying to draw something I think it was to show son what to do but he didn't have the strength to make the drawing felt so bad for him as we knew it was for the son and think that it was for the hot water tank ...so befor I take this to the mens forum please give me some idea of what I can do or suggest to son in law....

I do know that the starts with an a needs to be replaced...but what to do so I have water consistantly??

Sorry you still have that problem, Sheila. The "a" thing is the anode rod, but other than that I haven't a clue how to even remove it or even if I have one! I just remember my DH hunting for RV repair places on one of our trips to replace it. Usually, I think, the water smells a bit like rotten eggs? Do you still have the owner's manual papers? Maybe you can find a drawing in there that your son can use.

I know we had to replace the faucet one time when that on again, off again water happened to us but if I remember correctly you have having the same problem with all your faucets - right? Ours was just the kitchen.

I don't use my water heater very often mainly because my shower is so tiny that I use the RV park's facilities. I have a little electric hot pot for most hot water uses like dishes, etc. Who am I kidding - I use paper plates!

How are you managing in the driveway? Everything going okay?
