Almost six years ago my husband retired and we moved into our 5th wheel in May he retired in July and due to technacleties we stayed in one place for 4 months due to his health we are going back to the same campground...He talked about fulltiming for years basically dragged me into this life style kicking and screaming...now I"m dragging my heels all the way...

Larry's prostrate cancer is one of the more aggressive ones and his health has gotten so he isn't able to do the things he enjoys doing...he began Chemo last week which he will do every 3 weeks for 6 treatments and hopefully that will slow the beast down at the same time he is having to have blood transfusions and right now is in the hospital because of de-hydration sense I already had the ticket to come to Q and pack up the trailer so it can be moved we decided I needed to come down as planned. If any of you are ever in Salt Lake City or near it give us a yell and we will have a gtg would love to see any and all of you...

I'm so sorry Larry is in the hospital, however it's a fine place for him to be---all taken care of while you make the trip to Q to get the fiver all packed and ready to move to the park of your choice!

Please know you two are always in my thoughts and prayers!

I WISH I could come see you!

Take care of you!

Love,

Joella

going to the hospital was the very best thing we could have done!

he sounds so much better!!! a lot stronger and he says he feels so much better!

we are very grateful....now if they can find what the other cause is other than the cancer

that would be great

Through this forum, over the years I have come to consider you and Larry friends, even though I have never met you face to face. I am happy to hear that Larry is in a place where he is getting the care he needs. Please know that both of you are in my prayers.

Thank you all

and Sue I consider all of my friends on the forum special friends ...some I've been fortunate to meet others I haven't and truly wish that I had... and hope that the day will come that we will meet...

Larry is always saying that we are suppose to be careful when meeting internet friends there might be an az murderer out there :) and when he meets a new friend he will say well that's not the ax murderer!

He may go home tomorrow depending upon his lab test and even then will probably so home just will have to have a treatment before he can go home...trying to get stuff ready to move having such a hard time keeping at it as I said I'm hating leaving!

Thank you all for you support and concern

That's funny about the ax murderer. We are a scary bunch. I think my boys worry about my internet friends. I'm glad I have them worried about me for a change instead of me worrying about them.

Hang on, Sheila. You will do just fine. Life changes so quickly and we never seem to be ready for it. We don't think we're old. Certainly not as old as others our age appear to be. Then life smacks you beside the head and suddenly we're in a totally different situation. We're never ready for it.

I hope things smooth out for you and the packing up gets a tad easier. We'll just have to see if we can hunt out an ax murderer for Larry among this bunch of crazy women.
