I tried to log on to eBay today, and found out like Facebook--- I cannot log onto it.. So spent a couple of hours with eBay support. They told me to switch Browsers from IE 8 to Firefox. I really like IE 8....and I KNOW it....so hated to do it... but I did...

I could immediately log onto both eBay and Facebook.

I will be forced to learn Firefox I guess....

Now for a chorus of the song Welcome Back!!!!

Happy RV Travels!

I ran into snags with FireFox as well. It wouldn't mesh with Photobucket to let me right click, copy and paste to this Forum. I am right fond of this Forum, it's my favorite website hangout, and everything MUST be a go with The Women's Forum. At Sharon's suggestion, I switched again..... to Google Chrome, and she's right---- it does ROCK.... Of course, I'm still learning all about it, but do like it.

Hope I'm done for a while... and can settle in to using and learning all of Chrome's "secrets".

Next Tuesday, I'm leaving early for Nebraska and a reunion of friends. Don't know how many will be attending...but we fill up the little motel in town... Grin. We eat, talk, eat, laugh, eat, tour the local places, eat.... what more can I say!!???

It's 777 miles and am hoping to get there in one day... granted a long one. We'll see how it goes. I prefer not driving at night and the days are getting shorter. So, may stop overnight.

I am excited!! There will be good people there and am anxious to see them!!

Happy Travels All!

Joella - I used to use Firefox but I switched this summer to Google Chrome. I like it better.

I had some issues with both Explorer and Firefox - not loading pages, not acting right but Google Chrome has been good. Also there is Google Apps which has a word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation (like PowerPoint). This can be done on line and can be opened by Word, Excel, etc. It also has a phone app that you can make phone calls (granted you sound like you are in a tin can but it is an option)

I know I don't post often but I am glad school starts next week. I have large classes so I will be busy. Granddaughter starts Kindergarten also and she just lost her first tooth. Hope you have a safe trip and a great fall.

Thanks-1.gif picture by jomilt

Thanks for the tips on Google Chrome! I'll check out those Apps. I use a program for word processor etc... but I keep Milt's Blood pressure daily--- and it doesn't always want to save the new entry...for some reason. I'll check Chrome Apps out and see how it does.

I wonder if I can use the phone app with my WildBlue Satellite Internet Service. I cannot use Majic Jack for phone calls on a Satellite Dish. I'll do some checking on that too.

I'm still studying and learning Chrome.

Snaggle-toothed kids are SO cute!!!

Thanks again! Enjoy your school year!

Happy Days!
