This is our great-granddaughter, who will be 2 in November. She particapated in her first Rodeo on Saturday. She has this little pony. To give you an idea of how big she is (the pony)... the 55 gallon drum (barrel) is about 3' tall.

She did the Clover Barrels, the straight barrels and also poles. She also gets a belt buckle, all she has to do in compete in three out of five rodeos, and she will automatically qualify for a belt buckle.

Her mom and her aunt (our son's twin daughters) both rodeo --- so the little one comes by it honest!

Thought seeing this might interest y'all--- as to how we live and raise kids here in the country in Texas!

How cute! Sounds like she was born to the saddle. She looks perfectly comfortable on her pony. I just wonder how they taught her the ins and outs of the different competitions or do they lead her around?

Sue, although she IS a smart baby (grin) --- she was led by her grandmother, the twins mother-- who also rodeos.

Happy RVing!

What a darling little one. I was at the Cody Wyoming rodeo last year and a little one about 4 did the barrels. Of course the horse was older than dirt and simply new where to walk. It slowly walked from one barrel to the next and slowly went around each one. The crowd loved it. I was so enthralled, I forgot to take a picture. Too cute.
