Today our baby girl is 50!! Seems only yesterday she introduced herself into our world. The years have certainly flown, and really ages one to realize their first born is 50!
We took a dozen long stemmed red roses to her at the hospital where she works, and were lucky enough she was on a little break in surgery and could come out and talk to us.
It was her dad's idea to gift her with roses, saying it wasn't everyday you turned FIFTY! She had been gifted at work as well. She was wearing a "diamond tiara" with 50 on it, and had a marker across her chest saying Ms Fifty and Over The Hill 2010!! Plus she said she had lots of other 50 and over the hill signs in the back! 
Tomorrow she is going to Splash World for the day and will enjoy her Birthday party there.
