I can check of another item on the things I want to do. My cousin Janice and I took a trail ride through the Gettysburg Battlefields. We had a group of 16 "novice" riders go out with 3 wranglers to help us. Since we were the last in the line, we could get a picture of the group going out.

The ride was from 6 to 7 in the evening so the weather was really nice with a little breeze. We did go through a forested area, but this is the better picture. The wrangler took one of our cameras and took this picture of Janice and me. I am bring up the tail end of the group. I had a really nice horse who behaved beautifully. One of the girls in front, had trouble keeping her horse from eating the grass and leaves on the trees. They told us not to let our horses do either of those things, but the horses out weighed her by about 1,000 pounds.

my dad would roll over in his grave if he knew that I was thinking about putting a trail ride on my bucket list but what does a gal do if she know long lives on a ranch? Been years since I've been on a horse and would really enjoy it...and can't say that I was ever very good...rode occasionally think mostly Dad had what he needed to take care of the cattle and was using them...

good pictures enjoyed them very much
