Before the performance of "Texas" in Palo Duro canyon we had a dinner prepared by the Big Texan.
Sharon enjoyed the steak dinner. They had a great selection of salads, potatoes, fruit, and dessert.

The band played the Cotton Eyed Joe and Peggy, Linda, and Karen joined the fun.
This was the stage for "Texas"

Sunday morning we had our goodbye breakfast and Sharon was enjoyed the egg taco.

Margareta and Sharon were driving north after leaving Canyon so they compared their routes.

I stopped in San Angelo to see a relative and he showed me the Model A he has restored. He says it will go 55 mph. Aren't they supposed to be real slow??? Actually on I10 I was passed by two of them and I was doing 60 mph. They left me behind.

You could have had dinner in his garage. I never saw anything so clean and tidy. I had to take a photo of his tool board. I have pegboard too and tools but it sure doesn't look like this.

We spent the second night on the road in San Antonio at a KOA. The afternoon was spent by the pool. We were right by Salado Creek. Very nice park.

End of the trip back in Spring. Ann is so proud of her new shirt that she insisted we both wear them home.
