We are in Texas and having a wonderful time! We went to a Redneck Blowout on Saturday and it was such a great party. There was a crawdad boil and they also served BBQ beef brisket, chicken and sausage with beans and potato salad.
In this little kiddie pool they purge the crawfish in salt water before cooking.

After being purged they get dumped in the "hot tub" with potatoes, corn, onions and spices.

After they were cooked, they got put in a nonworking freezer to keep them warm and ready for serving.

Notice the board on the edge so the freezer top won't shut all the way to let the excess steam escape. They serve them up with a scoop from here.

Here is Jerry ready to dig in.

Here are a couple good ole redneck boys stringing up the electric cords to get power to the stage for the band. Not sure if you can tell or not but they are hooking them to a prestrung cable with coat hangers. Gotta love them rednecks.

The band was great and the dancing began. It was sprinkling so the couple in the back were dancing with an umbrella.

I saved best picture for last. This was the cutest little cowboy in Texas enjoying his crawdads.

Hope you enjoyed the party I know I sure did!
