the rest of your question everyone does it differently some like us feel you have to camp in the state before you can put the state on your map (in our case the map on the 5th wheel) others if they have been in that state it counts. So I think what ever you wish is the answer to that question

I thought a lot about the map thing and decided I would color in all the states I had been to - some of them for very extended periods of time, (like YEARS!) and some I raced through as if on my way to a fire! Umm, I used to drive a new Audi 3 - and umm.......I drove it quickly! :) I figured I've been there and it counts! Trailer or no trailer! I just decided that I've RV'd for all of my 59 years and I've been lots of places in lots of rigs and I just couldn't separate it all out.

All the western states on my are filled in because we actually traveled through and camped in. Michigan is colored in because a few years ago (before I had the MH) we went there to visit distant cousins AND spent a few days at Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. That in itself was totally worth the trip
