Sheila you are so funny! Dan has you beat though, he opened the basement compartment to get something and did not know Biff sneaked in there and was shut up in the dark for at least 4-6 hrs and because I was in the casita most of the time I did not hear him and assumed Biff was taking a nap on my bed in the motorhome...oops bad daddy!!!! Did Biff learn his lesson?.....NOPE...he tried to do the same in Franks motorhome....dumb cat!!!

When I went to my sister's for Christmas one of her cats got in my storage compartment when I was unhooking to come home. My storage compartment isn't very big so don't know how I didn't see her. On the way home I stopped for gas and opened it a little to put a wire in that was hanging out. When I got home I took the electric cord out and she didn't meow. The poor thing was in there until the next day and I happened to hear her. Then I had to keep her in a cage for 2 weeks so she wouldn't run away until my sister could meet me half way to get her cat.

I had to go get one of my cats because she got in a guy's horse trailer and went home with him. She had an ID collar on and ended up at his neighbor's and they called me. Cats are so nosy that they have to check everything out and if they get spooked they will hide.

At one time we had a Ford van with a sliding door. One day I got in to run errands and just as I was about to pull out of the subdivision onto the main road I heard something odd. Got out and found one of my cats up on the roof. He had hung on for several blocks but was happy to be drug inside and returned to his home.

Darn cats, they're a PITA! Had plumbers here once re-piping and Sammy got in their van and must have fallen asleep. Plumbers got about 5 miles from here, called me and asked me if I had a yellow cat....they brought him back to the house. That was before he learned to ride and enjoy it, I guess he gave them he77 before they got him back here! LOL!

Animals--- ya gotta love them. Mama once gave our cat a 2 mile ride in to town on top of the car! People were honking, pointing and waving. We had a Doberman who loved to ride in the back of the truck... and once he got up on the top of the cab--- again, honking, pointing and waving from others.

One of our early dachshunds, Dutch got closed in the motorhome. He was missing for 3 days, looked all over for him--- and one day, was out by the mh and heard him. He was SO happy to see me. That motorhome had two walk through doors into it.... one on the side and one in back---- he'd torn the screen up on both, trying to chew his way out...but not another thing was bothered. He also didn't go to the bathroom at all for 3 days!!

I had to go to town and buy screen and a friend loaned me the little tool to put new screen in both doors.

Happy RVing!

Joella
