Well, one good thing to come out of my miscalculation was a nice, new dome satellite dish that I can just push the button and it will search the satellite. No more cranking up and figuring angles, etc. Hey, they were replacing the dish anyway, so for a couple of hundred dollars I upgraded!

Shortly after my mishap a guy tried to take his new fifth wheel through a bank drive-up window! Got his picture in all the papers. And the tech who checked Flitter over and listed what needed to be done told me the last rig he had to check with stuff peeled off the roof was a 40 foot Dynasty and it was a guy who took roof and all off! Peeled it back like a sardine can. Didn't make me feel any better, but at least I knew it wasn't necessarily because I am a female and old!

When Flitter got her new set of tires, Firestone must have backed her under their overhang and now her ladder is bent over. The new ladder it took me 5 months to get after my accident! Everyone at Firestone swore on a stack of bibles that they didn't do it and I couldn't prove that they did. Funny that there is the same color beige paint on the ladder that is on their building, isn't it?

The person who taught me to drive the RV said to always remember 'lucky 13'. Anything under that number don't enter!

Yup - Jan and I saw a 40' fiver that thought it was a 10' dump trailer - and took out a LOT of stuff in a gas station! It looked like a pretty good 'oops' - and Jan's advice wasn't ever unsolicited - she's GREAT! I didn't say it was unsolicited - I just said it 'was'! :) And yes - she is a fabulous cook - it's me who's the lame one in that department.........

Gotta love Drew Barrymore, notice she did not say how much it cost to repair the rented RV LOL

See-ya -

it was so nice to see you post again. I kind of dropped off the forum for quite awhile and when I came back I missed your posts. Don't stay away so long.

Hi Sue, I'm always on Face Book now lol, at least I got unhooked off the Farm Town and Farm Ville games, OMG talk about addiction!!! I was getting nothing done every day, would be up till 3:00 A.M.!! There I sat in front of the puter figureing out when the crops were going to be harvested and could not be gone too long or they would die....Hello...Earth to Jenny they cannot die because they are NOT real!!! I decided the beginning of the year to go cold turkey. I deleted them faster than I could think about a 2nd chance. I have no regrets and now I am growing real flowers out in my garden and doing more around the casita and can take off and not worry about those dang games!!! Aaaaaah!!

Felt good when I heard Dr. Phill yell at a woman to give them up! Her daughter wrote to Dr. Phill because she would not be a Mom and glued to the computer. I was grinning like the cheshire cat to know I went cold turkey before I saw that show!!

Think I dropped off here because most of my family and friends are on Face Book and easier to post there.
