Tuesday we picked up our new 27' Airstream (no name as yet!!) and just got home today about 1:30. I made many many many lists from the info I found on this forum as well as the Airstream forum and I took probably 95% of what was on the lists...so we did well for our first "trip". I guess it really doesn't count as a trip as we pulled right out the dealer and made an immediate right to the Tampa East RV park, BUT, we made it without incident! And we made it home too, however, the backing into the storage spot was well, for use of a better word, tasking. I didn't do it, call me chicken, but between hubby and my son, all is well for the time being. Our LP gas alarm starting beeping this am about 5:30am...it didn't actually go off, but it beeped every 30 seconds. Reset it per instructions in the book and called dealer this am. We had frost last nite and they think it was from a power surge or just being used for the first time. Glad we didn't wake the neighbors. Now that we actually have it, I am looking forward to all the wonderful trips we have planned. I do miss one thing tho....my garbage disposal!!! Went to WalMart and bought one of those mesh filters for the sink, old habits are hard to break! I'll try to post a picture or two in the next few days. Until then, hope everyone is happy, healthy and safe.

Yippee !!! Congratulations !!!

I bet you're so excited to get your new "baby" all outfitted so it's more "yours" - can't wait to see pictures.

Best thing I did was have an arrival and departure checklist - I never failed to use it, even when I thought I knew what I was doing. It's a great way to be sure you don't forget the one little thing that could end up costing you allot of money !

Enjoy !!!
