So is everyone over Super Bowl fever? Have to admit, I never had it. I do watch sometimes, but only for the commercials and to see who is entertaining at halftime. I was let down on both accounts this year. JMHO LOL

Mostly I was applying heat to my sore elbow (from working out), and also I broke off a tooth while eating ice cream during the game! I was chewing on a piece of the frozen chocolate chunks and crunched on the broken part. Yuck!

I must confess I'm not a sports fan. I am like you and watched for the same reason.plus the fact there wasn't anything else i cared to watch on TV. I thought the half-time band was not good.... and my brain is trained to phase out TV ads....I can be looking right at them and not see them. I've seen some highlighted on TV shows this morning though.

Our son called yesterday...and we were discussing Super Bowl ads...and how they cost 3 million each, and Budweiser had done five of them. He said the ones with humor are the best liked, so he wonders why ALL ads are not done with humor and then people would watch them.

He said one of his favorites is the father and son who are standing in the cranberries. I said "oh yes.....I know that ad..... the man with the DUMB son ------- everyone has one of those!!" (He's our only son) He said WATCH IT.. and to think I called you".... I said "yes....only to be insulted!! We got a good laugh out of it.... he is SO fun!!!

Hope your elbow gets good soon!!

Have a wonderful day! I will!

I watched the Super Bowl because the Saints were playing. So happy for all the fans that they won. Wish I had brought some Mardi Gras beads with me to pass out.

Some of the ads went over my head. Don't know what all the hype was over some of them.

Nooooooo! I'm a pro football fan and watch two games every week! (It's my answer to having male company - woo hoo!) So I'm having football withdrawal symptoms.

I'm with Pudentane! And I liked the Google ad about the young man as a French exchange student - ended up with googling crib assembly directions - you had to read for that one - no talking.

I'm not into football but dh Kerry and I went over to dh's sister and her husbands place (they are spending a month near by and there place is a lot bigger) so they watched the game and I glanced up once in awhile and saw a ad...for the most part sat at my computer and tried to do something but it was so slow gave up and played games. We enjoyed the day
