Joella - Target has their Acer netbook on sale right now for $199 and that includes the storage sleeve. I'm not sure why - but I have wanted one for several months now so went to Target today. Of course, they are all out, but supposedly they are getting a shipment in tonight. I'm calling at 8 am to see if they came in or not. Sale is over tomorrow. As you know, my laptop is 7 years old and heavy and I have myself convinced that a netbook is just what I need for travel.

Many moons ago, I worked at Sears every Christmastime to earn extra $$. I worked in the catalog dept. and some days we weren't very busy and they'd pull us out on the floor to help with stocking shelves. I found out the prices were all marked up from anywhere from 400-600%!!! So unless it's an extremely discounted item, I don't bust my butt and fight the crowds to buy something that's still overpriced. I know, I know. I'm a Scrooge!! LOL
