I worked all weekend - it wasn't too bad. We were really busy which is a good thing for the owners.

Tomorrow is my last day of work at the KOA ! I'll get packed up on Wednesday and hit the road Thursday. I may take a couple days to get home, it's sort of a goofy route home with lots of 2 lane roads and I have to drive through several small towns - that's stressful anytime, but I haven't been on the road for 4 1/2 months and it'd be so stupid to push myself. I also don't want to get into Des Moines during rush hour so I think it'd be better to cruise into town on Friday early afternoon.

I'm looking forward to getting back home and to the next phase of my journey !!

I went with my dd on Thursday to Salt Lake City for a wedding on Sat. spent a bunch of time with family. DD got a motel room Sunday night and asked me to come over and spend the night with her and her son thought hmm couch or bed hmmm couch or bed bed! so last night watched them swim I didn't think I would utilize a swimsuite so it didn't go with me...:( so finally went to our room and got cought up on the forum and e-mail ect...today we slept in DD really did at 11:00 I said it's close to when we need to leave...when we went to the car there was a note left saying the tire had a bubble in it and should be checked as it could cause a blowout...went to DS had dessert that we didn't eat the night before and to get the rest of my stuff...then went looking for a tire shop ever tried finding on on Labor Day??? finally after DH suggested Pep boys went there and Yes they were open and had tires..they got us through in such a short while Wal Mart said it would be a good three hours before it could be done...So am now home back in Island Park It was a good weekend being with family seeing a new family start up nephew gets a ready made family his bride has a 5 year old....such a cutie...

and Trudy good to hear from you drive safe on that trip home....let us know where you will be and what you will be doing

Louise, Bless your heart!! I'm so sorry to hear about your injury...that hurts SO bad. Bad too to have husband stung, red and swelling and dog sick too.

I hope all feel far better SOON!
