A friend from Juneau, Alaska sent me a website of local photography. It was a most interesting site, and had many photos. http://juneaudailyphoto.blogspot.com/
I thought this fall color photo was outstanding. Then there was an exact location photo that I thought was taken earlier in the season.
Luckily, I read on about the photography and found on a rainy day, she had decided to experiment with photo editing....and thought it would be interesting to see what Eagle River would look like if the leaves were red. Good thing I found this out as wouldn't wish to lie to y'all.
She went on to say Alaska does not have any native deciduous trees with leaves that turn red in the autumn. We do, however, have some smaller brambles that turn various shades of red.
I was rather disappointed that such an outstanding place does not exist.
Whooo doggies!! I'm going straight to our Photobucket right now and see if I can't do some experimentation of my own. I want my personal photo to show me as tall, long legged and svelte!!
Have a wonderful day!
