I do not care for the table-top ironing board.
But the RV door size is too small for the big over-the-door boards I see in the stores.
Has anyone come across a small size over-the door-board?

To my way of thinking a garbage can is the answer. If it needs ironing - toss it! lol

I don't iron either, just the kitchen curtains once a year when I wash them, but I have a hand steamer in the rv that I use for quick touch-ups when needed. Even took it on my cruise and it worked great!

I must agree with Sparkle,Jomilt,& Sharon.
If you have to iron toss it out.
What a great idea!!!!
Never buy all cotton , and as
Sharon said ,if needed try a steamer.

I like Sparkle's solution!! Unfortunately, as a fulltimer, occasionally you get stuck with something that just has to be ironed. I have one of those table top jobs - which I really dislike, but use occasionally when I sew. I've found that most RV laundry rooms have an ironing board stashed away in a corner somewhere and I use those when I must iron.

I'm curious as to those ironing "pads." Has anyone tried them? They roll up for storage and seem as if they'd be useful... That is, if one HAD to iron something! ;)

I've wondered too what was available. I've looked but didn't see anything user-friendly for me. I have just used the bed or a heavy towel on the table since I don't have room for an ironing board and occassionally I need something touched up a bit. For the most part, I agree with Sparkle but...!! LOL

Suz, I'd forgotten about those ironing pads, and they do work really well. You can place it on the table top, or cabinet counter top. I used to take one with me to quilting classes when the iron/ironing board would always be occupied, and that was my alternative.
Easy tote in an RV too. IF you need to iron! We are all of a like opinion on that one!! :)

:quest:To iron or not to iron. That is the question? Is that why people belong to nudist colonies? NO JUST KIDDING. I'm like most, I iron when sewing something, everything else doesn't get worn much. :p
