Can anyone recommend a good, "affordable" RV park in Florida? I am disabled with limited income, and need to be out of cold climates for the winter. Would appreciate any assistance.

I don't know where you are in Fl. but there are inexpensive sites in Port Richey, Fl.

Thank you for your response. Actually, I'm currently in California, but headed that way for the winter.

I stayed overnight in a Park at Wildwood, FL and noticed that they had reasonable winter rates.
Wayside RV Park 800-242-4133 I just called them and if stay is 4 months + $214 month + electric. Less then 4 months $240.75 + electric. :) Fulltime Helen

Thank you, Helen, for the great information. I'm a full-timer, also. Relatively new, and "green." I love the possibilities that the lifestyle extends to us.
What did you think of the Wayside Park? Did it seem like a place one would be comfortable spending several months?
Again, I appreciate your response. :)

I stay at the Park two times a year. On way north and way back.
It has grass 40 X 60 (108) spaces. Look’s like 30-40 year around RV’s there. I never used the facilities there. They use to be a Good Sam Park rated at 7/8.5/6
It lays beside the FL turnpike, but it does’t seem to noisy from the traffic. You could stay a couple day’s to check it before committing to a longer stay.. $19.36 a night.
Here is the directions to it. Going south on I75 take the FL Turnpike to the 1st exit. (Turnpike and US 301) N. on 301 0.1 mi and it is on left.
They will be no Tolls to that Exit from I75
Good Luck Fulltime Helen
