how do I turn off email notifications for a topic, discussion?

To stop email notifications informing you that someone has responded to your thread....
1) Log-in and go to the thread whose notifications you want to discontinue.
2) Locate your posting and click the edit button at the top right corner.
3) Uncheck the box at the bottom left corner of your posting titled "Notify me when someone replies."
4) Click "Update Message"
If have multiple postings on that thread, it'll be necessary to do this for each of your postings.
