SLOW! 
The new ad for Golfing America looks nice, but it slows down an already painfully slow page load. The ad appears on every page. I am sure the people that design these things do not have to suffer through a dialup line.

Uncle, I agree wholeheartedly. It may be the "price" we have to pay for this BBS--the necessity for ads that bring in the revenue that let us enjoy our freebie, but it does slow things down. Since I sold my clubs that's one "passion" that I no longer enjoy. (I think the number of passions that I DO enjoy is getting fewer and fewer, alas.) Dutch Hebron, MD

I'm not sure that the Golfing America banner is slowing things down that much; however, to accommodate your concerns we have changed the banner to a static ad rather than an animated ad. Let me know if that seems to help.
