I am about to leave Houston, Texas going to Astoria, Oregon. My plan, then, is to leisurely drive south on Hwy 101 to the San Francisco area. I will be driving a 34'M/H with a Jeep Wrangler toad. Are there any difficult areas on Hwy 101 that I should be concerned about? Thanks Travis

Hi Travis:

Just slow down and take your time enjoying the wonderful scenry along the way.

There are no parts of hwy 101 that should give you any trouble.

Just be aware that some of hwy 101 in both Oregon and California is sometimes a bit narrow and in places very twisty. Nothing is a problem as long as you slow down and don't try to make freeway times.

The coast of Oregon is gorgeous--be sure to take a camera with you.

Cheers.

Cheers and happy travels, Mike www.backroadtravelers.com
