I have a 2007 Itascia Suncruiser and I am experiencing a noise that sound like two pipes hitting each other. The sound is coming from the driver side around the rear wheels. It is not a constant noise. When you are going against the wind it makes the noise off and on. When you have a cross wind it very seldom make the noise. No wind no noise so it is wind related. Has anybody ever had a problem like this. I have been under the RV and can not find anything loose. I also have a rubber flap across the back of the RV. I had the universal joints check and they said they were okay.

David,

Exhaust pipes are notorious for banging against the frame, differential, etc. Noises, like water leaks are sometimes decieving. If you have checked underneath and are certain there is nothing that can bang against another item, the sound you hear may not be coming from the area you suspect. Check for things rolling around inside, under the bed, in a compartment, etc. I know it sounds like it is wind related and it may be. Could it be something on your roof? A loose AC cover, antenna?

Good Luck with your search.
