Towing an FJ CRUISER..... The Fj cruiser CAN ONLY BE TOWED IF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION EQUIPPED.... The manual trans FJ comes with ALL WHEEL DRIVE and CANNOT be modified to tow behind anything on all 4 wheels, However the automatic transmission model will accept a driveshaft disconnect and will tow beautifully behind a motorhome on all 4 wheels..... no matter which vehicle you have, you CANNOT tow it on a dollie....SEVERE TRANSMISSION AND TRANSFER CASE FAILURE WILL RESULT.
I also want to include another Very important piece of information For those of you that are wanting to tow this vehicle.... YOU CANNOT USE A DEAD PEDAL TYPE BRAKE SYSTEM.....for example Brake Buddy, Apollo, Even Brake, Brake master, M&G, Ready Brake or anything else like that.... IF you do, the vehicle will skid every single time the brake system actuates. PLEASE NOTE the brake system on this car is LIVE and active eventhough the ignition and engine are off, just like the H3 Hummer
I am furnishing this information because there are so many requests for it on this vehicle and the potential damage to property and well being of not just the owner but also of other motorist if you need additional infomation feel free to email me. thanks happy motoring John hard2hitch@aol.com Best Wishes John

Best Wishes John
