My motorhome is equipped with a 2000 Ford Triton V-10 engine. The speedometer will now only show up
to 38 mph and no higher. Could the hot weather be the cause? I am mystified. Hope someone will chime
in and offer a solution or "guesstimate".

I recently replaced my speedometer with a new one. A Spartan dealer diagnosed it by computer and said it needed to be replaced. I bought it from Spartan and had it replaced. Works now.

Thanks for the responses. I haven't been able to locate a shop that can do this. I am in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Any suggestions?
