When I'm hooked up to campground fresh water, my tank fills up then the water goes out the overflow tube, even though I have the valve turned off. Why? I had the valve which fills up the tank replaced, but water stills go out the overflow. So I have to turn off the campground water and use the water in my tank.

Turney - There are 2 sources that can feed your rig's plumbing, the tank or the campground's faucet. When connected to the faucet a check valve at the waterpump prevents the faucet water from flowing backwards through the waterpump and into the tank, eventually causing it to overflow. This check valve is a very simple device consisting of a ball and spring that allows water to flow from the tank and pump, but not the other way. It may be stuck open or just worn out. Good luck - Dave
