I am a FT rv'er with a 1994 bounder. I have two cats and need to build a outside cage for them to access through the back side bedroom window. I have two home depot (black dog run metal panels) size about 5' X 4 1/2' I want to hang on the side of the motorhome for their litter box and also so they can venture out. I need to attach them to the side of the motorhome but am not sure of the type of screws, attachments I should use. Ideally I'd like to place both on either side of the window and then rotate the outer sides to meet so it is a triangle shape coming out from the motorhome side. I plan on making a base with wooden legs to support the weight and also of course the top so they don't get out. I would like to find some sort of fastener which would allow me to remove the bottom wood supports and fold both metal panels along the side of motorhome for easy travel. Any suggestions for screws/fasteners. the panels have about a 1" round side so my thoughts were either weld a hinges on them and then attach or use a simple metal strapping (?) fastener. However, my biggest concern is the walls and the strength or type of screws etc, I need to use. has anybody done this before? thanks
