For those of you who may not be familiar...most current coaches come with a popular option to replace those traditional pleated shades we all know of. Motor Coach Designs of McKinney, TX makes these shades which consist of two roller shades on a bracket...one is a sun blocker shade for daytime use and the other is a solid vinyl shade which is brought down at night. We have these in the bedroom and across the front windshield, which is also utilized when driving as a full width sun visor. It's best use is as a solar and heat blocker...much better than those curtains typically installed across the front windshield.
OK, so having said that...I've always wanted to equip 5 windows in the living room with these, yet the DW says "NO!" She says I/we? could only install them if they are power operated. Of course, trying to find a 12V sourse at these locations inside the slides is a near impossibility or very cost prohibitive at best.
So here's the deal....I need your reactions. The wife just flew up to MN with the grand daughter for a couple weeks, so I ordered 5 sets of these shades to install while she's gone. Let's have some fun.....(Might be my LAST FUN??)
1. When she returns to the MH, how long will it be before she notices something new?
2. What will be her reaction when she finally does see them?
3. How long will I get to sleep either on the couch or in one of the pull-out cargo trays below?
4. Male or female attorney?
5. Anything else might I need to be ready for?
